A built representation of movement

This building, situated within an orthogonal planned industrial layout, embodies a large variety of restrictions. On one hand the client envisioned to represent the transparency of its company and the wish to symbolize the ongoing iteration of people and business. On the other hand the municipality put out strict urban parameters in which the architectural design had to fit.

Sustainability and conventionality

Thursday I’m starting an architectural case study project; researching the difference in sustainability, costs, design and construction effects between a group of single entity offices and one large scale office building. The goal is to use conventional parameters of engineering and conventional investment calculations to design a single sustainable entity within these given boundaries.
